Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you specific rights regarding your personal information. This page describes those rights and how to exercise them.

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you. See our Privacy Policy for a summary of the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which we use them.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions required or permitted by law (for example, to complete a transaction, detect fraud, or comply with a legal obligation).

You can delete your account from the Charles dashboard, or email us at privacy@sovrintech.com with the subject line “California Delete Request.”

Right to Correct

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. You can update most account information from your dashboard, or contact us at privacy@sovrintech.com.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the Service (for example, payment processing through Stripe).

If our practices change in the future, we will update this page and provide a clear mechanism to opt out.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

Shine the Light

California residents may request a list of personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the prior calendar year. Because we do not share personal information for direct marketing, this list is empty. To confirm, contact us at privacy@sovrintech.com with the subject line “Shine the Light Request.”

How to Submit a Request

To exercise your rights, email privacy@sovrintech.com from the email address associated with your account. Please include:

• Your full name and the email address associated with your account
• A description of the right you wish to exercise
• Any information needed to verify your identity

We will respond within 45 days, or notify you if we need additional time. Only you or an authorized agent registered with the California Secretary of State may make a verifiable consumer request.
